ALP fan

I'm re-watching a Brazilian soap opera called Vamp. I LOVED it when I watched the first time, it's actually my favorite Brazilian tv production ever!!

I was only 7 year old when it aired and now I managed to get the first 130 chapters ;D It's 179 on total, hope before I finish I find the rest that's missing..

Today I saw a wonderful chapter! Gerald, my favorite vampire, found out he was in love and cried tears of blood.. awww and he's the 'bad boy' of the story. But then, he's not actually bad you know? He does what he can to help Natasha, a rock star that is also a vampire and is the master's promised. Gerald is Natasha's manager and he's ordered to watch her for Vlad (the vampire master), so he's actually Vlad's slave as all other vampires in the city. He's always defending Natasha anyway he can but no one seems to notice, so he's seen as the bad guy.. argh, life is so unfair!.. and his bad boy look and toughness don't help his case either.. :P but underneath he's a very loyal friend. His love interest is an awkward nerdish looking girl, who would have thought?! He's really in love with her.. he couldn't even bite her. I'm sure it will happen eventually but for the right reasons.. ;)

aww Gerald was my first vampire love.. Vamp was my first fandom.. xD

ps. Vamp was a tv show for all ages, and a lot of kids watched it, so it couldn't be too scary.. they tried to lighten up the scary moments with a bit comedy ;) it worked very well! it's definitely a feel good series =) well, except maybe for the Gerald parts, he usually gets the worst of it, but then I'm ogling the whole time.. xD. let's say he can relate to Damon Salvatore.

ALP marathon

I found another great actor!!! He really makes me feel too ;)

He's able to get me agonized in his movies.. Such strong feelings only with Andrew Lee Potts..

First I saw him in Highway (2002) which i watched cause of Jake Gyllenhaal. Didnt think much of him.. cute, yeah, but still preferred Jake.

Second i saw Mr. Nobody (2009), seemed an interesting plot (and it is) so i checked it out. He was good in it too =) playing different versions of the same character. There was one that i really liked! It remembered me a little Jon Bon Jovi (who i'm crazy about!!)

Then i saw Alexander (2004) and wow!! it blew me away!! you feel so much looking at the adoration in his eyes.. i remembered that i really liked him the first time i watched it too ;) he's looking fantastic, my type!!, and passed so much feeling in his acting.. he had me there!

As I had heard a lot about Requiem for a Dream (2000) and found out it was with him i decided to check it out too. And it's impossible not to sympathize with his character.. the movie get a whole deeper meaning with his acting.. we suffer with him!! as i do with ALP..

Yesterday i watched Lord of War (2005) and Panic Room (2002). Lord of War is a must see, so you open your eyes for what is happening with the traffic of guns in the world. And Jared makes it even more emotional.. he's there to make us feel.. Like when they put ALP in some movies in which he has to cry cause he's really great in doing so and is a master in breaking the audience hearts. As for Panic Room, he made the film!! He completely dominated the whole beginning of the movie.. he was so funny and peculiar!! i LOLed so much!! ;) fantastic skills! xD i remembered he was the character i liked the most the first time i'd seen it too =) he really got my attention back then. i was totally cheering for him ;D

Well and I just found out recently that he was the lead singer of 30 Second from Mars.. lol yeah, i didn't know.. and i had a song from them that i was addicted in my cell. spent my whole trip to Singapore listening to Bad Romance ;)

Now i'm checking his music and his other movies. liking everything so far! he has some amazing stuff!

Jake Gyllenhaal

After finally watching Brokeback Mountain about a month ago I noticed Jake Gyllenhaal. Looked for him at imdb and I liked what I found ;) So I started watching his movies and found out he's quite a talented actor! Ok, he's no Andrew Lee Potts or Lee Pace that are absolutely unique in each role, but he's my 3rd favorite actor nowadays. xD

Like ALP and LP, he's not exactly my type, but he conquered my heart with his acting and charisma ;)
